Terms

• You must be at least 18 years old. You confirm your date of birth when you sign up, and it must be true.
• You must be able to form a binding contract and not be barred from using the Service under applicable law.
• You may not use the Service if we have previously banned you.
• One person, one account. Don't create accounts for anyone else or to get around a block or ban.

We may ask you to confirm your age and remove any account we believe belongs to someone under 18.

You sign in with Apple, Google or a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to that account and your devices secure; you are responsible for activity on your Reel Love account. Tell us right away at support@shootyourshot.co if you think someone else has accessed it.

You own the shots, replies, photos and other content you post (“your content”). To run the Service, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, transcode, display and distribute your content, and to make thumbnails and share previews of it, in order to operate, improve and promote the Service. The license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other people have already saved or shared, copies in backups that rotate out, and copies we must keep for legal or safety reasons.

You are responsible for your content. By posting, you confirm that:

• you have the rights to everything in it, including any music, images or other people's work;
• everyone who appears in it is an adult who agreed to be filmed and posted; and
• it follows these Terms and our Community guidelines.

Public shots can be seen by anyone, including people who aren't signed in and anyone with a share link. Replies in a private thread are visible to the people in that thread.

Reel Love has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Objectionable content includes anything our Community guidelines prohibit, including nudity or sexual content, harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, violence, any content involving minors, spam and scams, and impersonation. Abusive behavior includes harassing, threatening, stalking, or repeatedly contacting someone who does not want to hear from you, whether in shots, shoot-backs, threads or live calls.

• Report: you can report any shot, profile or thread from its ⋮ menu. The person you report is not told who reported them.
• Block: you can block anyone from their profile, a shot or a thread. Blocked users can no longer see your content, shoot back at you, react to you or call you, and their content disappears from your feed immediately. Manage blocked users in Settings → Blocked users.
• 24-hour review: our team reviews every report within 24 hours. Content that violates these Terms is removed, and the users who posted it are ejected from the Service (their accounts are suspended or permanently banned).

To report urgent safety concerns, email support@shootyourshot.co. If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.

You agree not to:

• break the law, or help anyone else break it;
• harass, threaten, bully, stalk, or intimidate anyone;
• post content that violates our Community guidelines or anyone else's rights;
• film, record, screenshot or share anyone without their consent;
• impersonate anyone or misrepresent your age or identity;
• spam people, run scams, or promote off-platform services without our permission;
• use bots, scrapers or other automated tools to access the Service or collect data from it;
• try to access accounts or systems you aren't authorized to, or interfere with or disrupt the Service; or
• copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the Service.

• Live calls are private 1:1 video calls that last up to 3 minutes. Either person can decline or leave at any time.
• We stream calls in real time and do not record them.
• You may not record, screenshot, screen-share or otherwise capture a call, or the other person, without their clear consent.
• Everything in these Terms and our Community guidelines applies on calls. Nudity, sexual acts and harassment on a call will get you banned. Report a call from the person's profile or thread.
• We may end calls or limit access to calls to keep people safe.

You can save and share your own shots. Saved videos carry a Reel Love watermark crediting the creator; don't remove or crop it. When you share a shot, anyone with the link can watch it.

Sharing and reposts are the creator's choice. A creator can turn on “Let people share and save my shots” in Settings. Only then can others send a link to, save or repost that creator's public shots, and every saved copy is credited to the creator. By turning it on, you allow other users to share your public shots and to save and repost them, with that credit, on other platforms. You can turn it off at any time; that stops new saves but can't recall copies already saved. We log who saved which shot.

You may not download, save or repost other people's content outside the Service unless the creator has allowed it, and you must keep the credit and watermark intact. Never use someone's video to harass, impersonate or misrepresent them.

You can invite friends with your personal invite link. The invite program does not offer, and we do not promise, any rewards, payments, credits or prizes for inviting people. We record who invited whom as described in our Privacy policy. Don't send invites as spam or describe the Service in a misleading way. We may change or end the invite program at any time.

If you allow push notifications, we send them for reactions, replies and live calls. You can change which ones you get in Settings, or turn them off in your device settings.

We may review, restrict or remove content and suspend or ban accounts at any time if we believe they violate these Terms or our Community guidelines, put anyone at risk, or expose us to legal liability. We may report illegal activity to law enforcement, and we report child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). If you think we made a mistake, email support@shootyourshot.co.

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account; see how deletion works. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we stop offering the Service. Sections 3 (the parts about responsibility for your content), 12 through 16 and any other terms that by their nature should survive will survive termination.

The Service, including its software, design, logos and the Reel Love name, belongs to us and our licensors. We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the apps for your own non-commercial use under these Terms. We may change, add or remove features at any time.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE.

We do not run background checks on users and are not responsible for how other users behave, on or off the Service. Be careful when you interact with people you don't know, and never share information you wouldn't want made public.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REEL LOVE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY CONTENT OR CONDUCT OF OTHER USERS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO US$100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

You agree to defend and indemnify Reel Love against claims, damages and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from your content, your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of [TO BE CONFIRMED: governing state], United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts located there, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it in your local courts. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory local law.

If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, you also agree to that store's terms, and those terms apply to your use of the app as well.

Apple (iOS): These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. Where these Terms don't address something, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies. If the app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); otherwise Apple has no warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for handling any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection claims, or claims that the app infringes someone's intellectual property; we are responsible for those. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Google Play (Android): Your use of the app is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app.

We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after changes take effect, you accept the new Terms.

If any part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest stays in effect. If we don't enforce a part right away, we haven't waived it. You may not transfer these Terms; we may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. These Terms, the Community guidelines and the Privacy policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
