Community guidelines
Last updated: October 24, 2026
Reel Love is for adults putting themselves out there. Be bold, be respectful. These rules apply to every shot, shoot-back, profile, thread and live call. Breaking them gets your content removed and can get you banned.
They are part of our Terms, which have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users.
Adults only
You must be 18 or older. Never post or show anyone under 18, and never sexualize minors in any way. We remove these accounts immediately and report child sexual exploitation to the authorities. See our Child safety standards.
Not allowed
- Nudity and sexual content: no nudity, sexual acts, sexually explicit talk or gestures, or sexual solicitation. This includes live calls.
- Harassment and bullying: no insults, threats, unwanted sexual comments, or repeatedly contacting someone who hasn't replied, has said no, or has blocked you. No encouraging others to pile on.
- Hate: no attacks on people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or serious illness.
- Violence and danger: no threats, glorifying violence, self-harm encouragement, weapons sales, or dangerous challenges.
- Illegal activity: no drug sales, sex work solicitation, trafficking, or anything else illegal.
- Spam and scams: no fake engagement, mass unsolicited invites, money requests, crypto or investment pitches, or links that try to move people off the app to sell them something.
- Impersonation and fake profiles: be yourself. Use your own photos and your real age. Don't pretend to be another person, brand or public figure.
- Private information: don't share anyone's address, phone number, private photos or other personal details without their permission.
- Other people's work: only post content you have the rights to.
Consent comes first
- Only film people who have agreed to be filmed and posted. If someone in your shot asks you to take it down, do it.
- Don't record, screenshot or screen-share a live call or someone else's shot without their permission.
- “No” or no reply means stop. Shooting your shot is fine; pressuring someone is not.
How to report or block
- Report a shot, profile or thread from its ⋮ menu, choose a reason and add details if you want. The person isn't told who reported them.
- Block someone from the same menu. They can't see your content, shoot back, react or call you, and their content disappears from your feed. Unblock anytime in Settings → Blocked users.
- Something urgent, or something you can't report in the app? Email support@shootyourshot.co. If someone is in immediate danger, call your local emergency services first.
How we enforce
- Our team reviews every report within 24 hours.
- Content that breaks these rules is removed.
- Accounts that post it, or that abuse other people, are suspended or permanently banned. Serious violations, such as anything involving minors, threats or non-consensual sexual content, mean an immediate permanent ban.
- Banned users may not create new accounts.
- We report illegal content and credible threats to law enforcement.
